Cheil Worldwide

Cheil was the in-house advertising agency and a Samsung Group Company. The Indian subsidiary was the Regional Headquarters for SWA (South-West Asia).

I started my stint by taking charge of BTL (Events & Activations), while I gradually took over the responsibilities for Retail Branding and Digital Tech Integration as well.

Set up a new team and expanded from 3 members to 60. Expanded the agency's base from Gurgaon to 8 more regional locations.

Managed BTL budgets to the tune of INR 18 Million and Retail Branding budgets of Rs. 9.5 Million in the first financial year of my stint at Cheil/ Samsung SWA.

Achieved magical demo numbers of 8.5 mil for the flagship Samsung Galaxy Note 1 Series, beating China (5 mil demos) by a handsome margin. Rewarded as the Star Performer for this massive achievement. All campaigns during my stint at Cheil generated over 50 mil demos, all put together.

Set-up and led a parallel team for MICE, to take care of Dealer and Employee Incentive Trip Programs, taking as many as more than 3500 individuals to International destinations for an Exclusive Samsung Brand Experience.

Introduced some unique branding innovations on the Retail Branding and Digital Tech fronts as well.
