May 2016 - Jan 2020 | New Delhi, India HS Ad is the in-house agency and an LG Group Company. I took charge of the responsibilities of Business head on a virtual mode for BTL, Digital, Retail and Special Projects. Built a strong 90-member team. Even on a part-time role, I delivered projects (and Revenue) higher than other full-time Business Heads during my stint at HS Ad. I consistently generated the Highest Revenue numbers amongst all business verticals in the History of HS Ad in India. Set-up and streamlined the BTL, Digital and Retail Department to manage all projects of LG India, LG Singapore, Korea Tourism, KCCI, CG Group Nepal and Introduced a new department called Special Projects for curating some award-winning Innovative Integrated Marketing Campaign. Apr 2013 - Dec 2013 | Noida, India Zee Media Corporation Limited was a vertical of Zee Group with responsibilities to manage News, Business News and some Regional Channels. I took charge to create and lead the vertical of NTR (Non-Traditional Revenue) supporting the Brand Marketing and Sales verticals of Zee Media Corp. Managed existing, while I created some new IPs across for the TV Channels managed by the Group. Executed numerous client specific projects also for the NTR vertical. Jan 2012 - Mar 2013 | Gurgaon, India Cheil was the in-house advertising agency and a Samsung Group Company. The Indian subsidiary was the Regional Headquarters for SWA (South-West Asia). I started my stint by taking charge of BTL (Events & Activations), while I gradually took over the responsibilities for Retail Branding and Digital Tech Integration as well. Set up a new team and expanded from 3 members to 60. Expanded the agency's base from Gurgaon to 8 more regional locations. Managed BTL budgets to the tune of INR 18 Million and Retail Branding budgets of Rs. 9.5 Million in the first financial year of my stint at Cheil/ Samsung SWA. Achieved magical demo numbers of 8.5 mil for the flagship Samsung Galaxy Note 1 Series, beating China (5 mil demos) by a handsome margin. Rewarded as the Star Performer for this massive achievement. All campaigns during my stint at Cheil generated over 50 mil demos, all put together. Set-up and led a parallel team for MICE, to take care of Dealer and Employee Incentive Trip Programs, taking as many as more than 3500 individuals to International destinations for an Exclusive Samsung Brand Experience. Introduced some unique branding innovations on the Retail Branding and Digital Tech fronts as well. As part of its Senior Leadership, I took charge of the Showtime Direct (Activations) Business and managed the department's P&L. Set-up the department from ground 0 to about 30 members across Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. Jul 2007 - Aug 2008 | Mumbai, India Big 92.7 FM was a part of Adlabs that was a strategic acquisitions done by Reliance ADAG Group. With over 45 Radio Stations across the country, Big FM was the largest radio network in India. I started my stint at here with operations management for Big Reach, the Non-Traditional Revenue vertical of the company. The role later diversified into a business strategy, planning and implementation profile. Defined and implemented NTR processes. Conceptualised, Planned and executed NTR strategy for numerous clients as well as the Big FM brand. Successfully managed Pan-India operations spanning across 45 Radio Stations and covering over 140 major cities. Actively led the short-term acquisition, revenue responsibility and execution of Indian Television Academy (ITA) Awards. Sep 2004 - Jul 2007 | Noida, India Expomedia was a leading International Exhibitions & Conventions Company with its headquarters in the UK. I was a part of the founding team of the Indian Subsidiaries. While we launched some of the most celebrated and professionally managed trade shows, we also cloned some successful International exhibition brands to India from Dubai and UK, Index, Big5, IPEX and Professional Beauty to name a few. We also acquired the management rights of Expocenter, Greater Noida and we assisted the core team during it construction to ensure quality and service standards at par with other International Convention centres. After successful entry of two subsidiaries into the Indian market, we opened doors for a third entity called Informedia to launch and manage professionally managed specialised conferences. I was also a part of the core team to take charge of a series of acquisitions that were planned as the next steps. The first major acquisition was of all the shows that belonged to Tafcon, including Paperex, MMMM (Mining Minerals, Metals Metallurgy), amongst others.
